- Review your research on the "Chosen One" and confirmed your choice of RV make and model
- Your first trip to buy is a dry run only...no purchase or signing papers or leaving a deposit
- Have your written questions ready and get them answered.
- Have your dealer list all standard and optional equipment that is included in the purchase price of your RV
- Have dealer list costs of hitches, sway bars , brake controls, dealer prep on invoice
- Leave the RV dealership
- Go online and print out pricing for your RV by wholesalers like RV Wholesalers in Ohio and dealer websites that carry your brand and model......Use RV pricing for similar brands to broaden the field
- Compare everything to any proposals you have obtained
- If you document and organize what info you have gathered, you are ready to negotiate
- Avoid IMPULSE buying....you do not negotiate with price .....You negotiate with what you know! The Dealer negotiates with you based on what you know.
